The Summit One Vanderbilt observation deck in New York City is a veritable wonderland of sensory experiences. Kenzo Digital, the artist who designed each room, uses mirrors to reflect and refract the city that surrounds the building. In this room, the installation known as “Affinity” surrounds the viewer with silver Mylar balloons that seem to have a life of their own.
