Makers

for Jeffrey Beers, Collective Quarterly, the JD Lohr School of Woodworking, and many others

When I was a freshman in college I had an internship at a hospital with various surgeons to document new medical procedures. As I stood by, photographing open hearts and asking a hundred questions, I realized how much of photography was educational. Since then, I have photographed countless people at work. A subject that never loses its magic. From glass blowing to woodworking to knife-making to painting, this gallery is dedicated to the processes I have been commissioned to capture and celebrate.
